Pool construction
We have developed construction methods for concrete swimming pools based on our years of experience as both a residential and commercial swimming pool contractor. We design and build swimming pools that exceed absolutely safe and easy maintenance. Many of our enhancements are designed to either save money in the long run or prevent costly repairs that may occur in the future. Our method of construction allows for greater creativity in design as well as enhanced stability and structural integrity.
There are certain components of pool construction that we will never subcontract out to others. The pool shell and the plumbing are the most important parts of the project and we insist on maintaining control and having our highly trained workers do this work.
Pool construction is based on the Pool water circulation.
Suspended & Dissolved contamination is removes from the pool water by skimmers, vacuum head, filter and chemical dosing system respectively. It is very important to ensure while undertaking a swimming pool design that these components are properly selected and connected with the ability to control them as required.

1. Open Overflow Type Swimming Pool
In this type of swimming pool, filtered water enter from the bottom either floor or wall and after complete filling it over flow into a channel called overflow channel which is constructed along with the pool periphery at deck level and from the channel the water goes to the balancing tank and from balancing tank it goes to filter through recirculation pump set and from filter it comes again into the pool room the bottom.

2. Skimmer Overflow Type Swimming Pool
This type of system called economical because this system does not required any overflow channel and balancing tank. In that, way lot of saving can be achieving. In this system, filtered water inlets fitted at one side pool's wall at approx middle height and skimmer is fixing at top upon the opposite wall of inlet side. Water recycled back through skimmer and main drain, which is connect directly to the pump and from pump, it goes to the filter and after filtration, it comes to the pool through return inlets. In this system, there is always a freeboard of 100-150 mm and layer of dust particles, small grass deposited with the wall with water line. |

How the pool construction work proceeds
- Site preparation excavation and retaining walls if required.
- Form work and placement of reinforcement bars and mesh.
- Call in Council Inspector to approve work to date.
- Stage one of plumbing for main drains, fountains, jets, in floor cleaners
- Establish initial chemical balance & Stage two of plumbing.
- Concrete finishing, pebbling, tiling and paving
- Test plumbing and filtration equipment installation .
- All construction debris removed from yard and dirt is graded. (Yard clean up)
- Pool care and maintenance training to client’s side people.

Process of Construction in Brief
After marking the outline of the swimming pool, excavation is carried out as per the requirement with extra allowance for the various equipment that are required to be installed in the structure e.g. main drain, light housings, skimmers, pipelines, wiring conduits etc.
Laying of lean concrete upon the excavated and properly rammed soil.
Piping network for swimming pool water recirculation executed by our skilled staff under the supervision of experienced engineers.
All pipeline designed for maximum 1.75 M/hr. water velocity across the piping to minimize pipeline losses.
All piping coupled in the machine room with union or flange arrangement to facilitate of replacement of valves and fittings.

B.B.M.
Providing of 115mm thick brick wall for shuttering purpose up to the required height. According to the structural details 5" of burnt masonry is erected to form the preliminary wall of the swimming pool with allowance for the insertion of light housing, skimmers, inlets, plumbing and wiring conduits required for the swimming pool. The B.B.M. provides additional strength to the structure.

R.C.C.
Laying of M.S. tor steel reinforcement as per the structural design for floor as well as wall. Shuttering is placed on the inside of the swimming pool wall. The concrete is a rich mix of M200 specification with Concrete admixture is mixed, which makes the concrete watertight and allows higher dispersion and plasticity. Laying of concrete 75-200mm thickness as per the structural design requirement.
In case of open flow system, we provide cantilever slab of 600 mm wide attached to the wall one feet below from the deck level for making of overflow channel and one tank called balancing tank constructed towards the deep side of the swimming pool |

PLASTER
A plaster of minimum 25mm thickness in the ratio of 1:4 is provided into which Water proofing liquid is mixed which is a mortar plasticizer agent, which makes the mortar water tight and also provides good workability. In all the structure, as such becomes watertight. Leveling of entire uneven concreted surface

CHEMICAL TREATMENT
The surface of the joint area e.g. floor and wall will be treated with Latex Material to ensure proper sealing of all overlap joints. |

TILING
Cladding with tiles of entire area of swimming pool floor, walls’ Tiles, which we have assumed, are glazed tiles 1’ x 1’or 12" x 8" size of Sky blue color or as per client’s desire. |

DECKING
Plain cement concrete 4" lay on the base of the whole swimming pool in the ratio of 1:4:8. The area around the pool laid with P.C.C up to 75 cm wide over which checkered tiles will supply and design of your choice and depending on the availability of materials. |

COPING
The edge of the swimming pool will have a coping of 20 cm wide with natural stone or Concert Tiles. |
